Job description

Senior HR Business Partner, Dallas, TX

We're growing our Dallas office and looking for an HR Business Partner to be our onsite people person here. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you'll work alongside our HR and recruiting team and office support to keep the Dallas office running well and growing the right way. Everyone on this team wears both hats, partnering with leaders and recruiting great people, and you'll be the face of HR in the Dallas office day to day.

This role blends two things we care about equally: being a genuine partner to seasoned leaders, and being a strong recruiter who can bring great people in the door.

Business partnering

  • Partner with Dallas directors and senior leaders on org design, workforce planning, performance, and employee relations

  • Be the visible, onsite people resource for managers and employees

  • Coach managers through difficult conversations, team dynamics, and development

  • Turn business priorities into people strategies like retention, engagement, and succession

  • Use people data to advise leadership proactively

Recruiting

  • Run full cycle recruiting for Dallas roles: intake, sourcing, screening, interviews, offer, and close

  • Partner with hiring managers on scorecards and interview plans

  • Source passive candidates and build pipelines for critical and recurring roles

  • Deliver a candidate experience that reflects who we are

What you'll cover

  • Benefits: administration, open enrollment, vendor coordination, and a local point of contact for employee questions

  • Compliance: TX and federal employment law, workplace safety and OSHA, workers' comp, and keeping the office audit ready

  • Onboarding and offboarding: the HR side of the new hire and exit experience

  • Employee relations: handling issues and investigations with sound judgment and appropriate escalation

  • Performance cycles: running reviews and calibration locally, plus manager coaching

  • Leave administration: FMLA and TX specific leave

  • HRIS and records: clean data and accurate employee records for the office

  • Immigration and visa coordination: supporting sponsored hires

  • Comp: local benchmarking, offer guidance, and merit and promotion cycles

  • Policy: keeping the handbook and company policies updated for TX

Job requirements

What you bring

  • 7+ years in HR, with a track record of partnering credibly with senior and director level leaders

  • Strong full cycle recruiting experience, ideally for technical, engineering, or development roles

  • A collaborative style, comfortable sharing work across a distributed team while being the steady HR presence on site

  • Broad generalist depth across benefits, compliance, employee relations, and comp

  • Working knowledge of TX and federal employment law

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
