As part of the RAVN team, you'll be at the forefront of revolutionizing pilot training on military grade aircrafts and aerospace engineering in the defense sector. RAVN provides combat or high maneuver training for pilots, RDT&E, and maintenance services with its fully owned fleet of aircraft.
This will be located at our contract site in San Antonio, Texas.

Job requirements
- Be able to commute to San Antonio, Texas.
Be a U.S. citizen; no foreign nationals permitted.
DoD 4-ship/Division Lead in F or A designated aircraft
Current security clearance (minimum SECRET//NOFORN level)
- Possess military tactical flying experience:
500 hours total tactical aircraft time and current Armed Forces Reserve or Guard status, or
1000 hours tactical aircraft time if DoD Retired or Separated, or
1300 hours total time with 300 hours tactical aircraft time for retired/separated candidates.
Previous qualified DoD flight lead (4-ship for ADAIR, 2-ship for CCAS) in F- or A- designated aircraft.
- Tactical flying qualification within the preceding 5 years (US Military Department, a foreign DoD equivalent, or a US DoD Contractor providing ADAIR or Close-air-support on another DoD contract.)
*Tactical aircraft time in support of ADAIR is defined as flight hours in any Government owned F-, A- designation, as well as T-38 ADAIR, T-38 IFF, and any international exchange fighter equivalent aircraft serving as Pilot in Command, Instructor Pilot, or Stan/Eval Flight Examiner.
Note: It is possible to waive this qualification requirement on a case by case basis based on the experience level of hiring candidates.
Previous qualified DoD flight lead experience in F- or A-designated aircraft.
Current FAA Class II medical rating.
FAA Commercial and Instrument Rating.
- Aircrew Responsibilities:
Primarily flying ADAIR and/or CCAS sorties in support of DoD contracts. Additional sorties may include various RDT&E support (if required).
Primary location(s) TBD upon contract award.
Expect travel up to 50%.
