RAVN provides combat or high maneuver training for pilots, RDT&E, and maintenance services with its fully owned fleet of aircraft.
We are seeking a highly motivated Contracts Specialist to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in managing and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance, and supporting various teams with contractual expertise.
What you get to do:
Assist Business Development with proposal efforts.
Identify areas of contractual and cost risks.
Draft, review, and negotiate and finalize a variety of contracts, including NDAs, and service agreements.
Monitor and ensure contracts comply with company policies and applicable regulations.
Serve as the main liaison with outside contracting representatives
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and procurement teams, to align contract terms with business objectives.
Maintain an organized contract management system to track key dates, renewals, and obligations.
Identify potential risks and provide solutions to mitigate contractual liabilities.
Support the development and implementation of contract policies and best practices.
Assist with contract disputes and work towards amicable resolutions.
Job requirements
Must be a U.S Citizen
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
Proven work experience as a Contracts Specialist or similar role with minimum 3 years of experience.
Must be familiar with contract law and negotiation strategies or be able to research regulations to ensure contracts are updated and in compliance with laws.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication, both oral and written and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally.
Must have familiarity with U.S. Government federal procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements, including FAR/DFAR’s, Flowdowns.
Must have some familiarity on Export/Import Regulations (ITAR)
Must have or have the ability to obtain U.S. Government security clearances.
