Role Overview:

The Senior CAD Operator will be responsible for creating and modifying engineering drawings, layouts, and schematics for the Engineering team. This role involves collaborating with engineers and designers to ensure that all technical drawings are accurate, up-to-date, and meet the project specifications. The Senior CAD Operator will focus on preliminary design work, creating 2D/3D models, and ensuring consistency across engineering documentation.

TAaKA Engineeringでは、発電所、マイクログリッド、データセンターインフラなどのエネルギー関連プロジェクトにおいて、エンジニアリングチームの設計業務を支えるシニアCADオペレーターを募集しています。

本ポジションでは、2D・3D図面の作成・修正、設計レイアウトの初期検討、エンジニアとの連携による図面の精度向上、ドキュメント管理など、プロジェクトの設計品質を支える重要な役割を担っていただきます。

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering Drawing & Design Support:

  • Develop 2D and 3D drawings for various civil, electrical, and mechanical components based on design specifications.

  • Work closely with engineers to translate technical concepts into detailed CAD drawings, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.

  • Assist in the preliminary layout of power plant systems, including thermal, solar PV arrays, and battery storage.

Document & Design Modifications:

  • Review and revise engineering drawings to incorporate changes based on feedback from engineers and other teams.

  • Maintain drawing standards to ensure consistency across all project documentation.

  • Coordinate with the Project & Document Control Engineer to ensure proper storage and version control of all CAD files.

Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Liaise with cross-functional teams (civil, electrical, mechanical) to ensure that all design documents are properly aligned and meet technical specifications.

  • Assist with the preparation of project presentations, reports, and documentation that require CAD visuals.

Quality Control & Compliance:

  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and project-specific requirements.

  • Perform quality checks on drawings and models to ensure that they meet design specifications.

Job requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Associate degree or equivalent in CAD Design, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in CAD drafting or design for power plants, industrial facilities, or engineering projects.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other CAD software.

    • Experience with 3D modeling and creating detailed engineering drawings.

    • Basic knowledge of engineering principles related to power plants (civil, electrical, mechanical) is a plus.

  • Language: English proficiency is an advantage.
