About us: 

Pacifico Power is a startup focused on developing, constructing, owning, and managing behind-the-meter commercial energy projects, largely applying virtual net metering. The company will expand into storage, micro-grids, and community-based energy distribution as the regulations continue to loosen and allow for these alternative means of providing power. Pacifico Power is an affiliate of Pacifico Energy, a leading renewable energy company with a focus on utility-scale renewable projects in Asia. Over the last 10 years Pacifico Energy has developed over 1 GW of renewable energy projects worldwide, equating to $3.5 billion of investment.

We are looking for a Business Development Analyst to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and supporting the development of strategic partnerships. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


What you get to do: 

  • Identify potential partners such as installers, roofers, economic development agencies, etc. that can refer business to Pacifico Power
  • Cultivate relationships with partners and implement the referral program with them
  • Identify potential customers and initiate targeted outreach through multiple channels (email, phone calls, LinkedIn outreach, etc.) 
  • Support public relations and relationships with media outlets 
  • Plan activities with current customers to foster referrals and increase brand awareness
  • Join industry associations and be an active participant in activities, events, and meetings in order to foster relationships with potential clients
  • Find and attend conferences to build relationships with potential clients
  • Connect with customers in dinners, entertainment or other events to build relationships and understand their needs
  • Secure a defined number of leads through business development outreach 



Job requirements


  • Proven ability to effectively building relationships that lead to sales and sales opportunities
  • Consistently Organized and thorough in planning and execution of business development plans and activities
  • Constant sense of urgency to achieve companies goals
  • Effective communicator with an ability to understand customers and or partners
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relations
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years in business development in the renewable energy sector
  • Previous experience in the renewable energy industry is highly desired
  • Self-motivated, highly responsive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
